America's Pastime--Does it get any better?

How long has it been since you've been to a baseball game?  There's just something about the baseball experience that gets me all fired up.  Maybe it's the incredible ballparks or the perfection of the green grass in the outfield.  Or is it the $7 Hot Dogs and an $8 Dr. Pepper to accompany this American delicacy?

I love everything about America's pastime; the smells, the sounds and the traditions.  Everything about this experience just breathes America.  For instance... There's nothing like paying $20 to park 3 blocks away and then running through the rain to find out you're already
in the 3rd inning.  Or staying through the whole game even though you're getting beat just because it's fireworks night and then hearing the dude come on the loudspeaker to apologize after the 3rd out in the ninth for the sole purpose of canceling the firework show because of the weather.
Alright, so I'm being a little sarcastic about my last experience, but in all seriousness, I love baseball.  I especially enjoy the experience at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas.  The ballpark is set up so that no matter where you're sitting, it seems like you're in a prime spot for watching the game.  The Astros always put on a good show and the ballpark provides you every opportunity to go broke before the end of the game.  All of that to say... it's baseball season, so go to a game and enjoy America's Pastime once again!
