355 Baptized at High School Beach Retreat

I've been a part of countless baptism services, but I've never experienced anything quite like the baptism service and response time we had on Wednesday night at High School Beach Retreat. In a matter of an hour, we baptized 355 High School students and it was humbling and moving to see God working in the lives of these teenagers as they boldly professed their faith in Jesus Christ.

As amazing as this momentous occasion was last night, in reality, this is where the hard work begins. We officially have hundreds of baby believers who are in desperate need of nourishment and discipleship. Our follow up process begins the day we get back and our goal is to get every one of these students plugged into the life of our church and involved in our Student Ministry. Our goal is to get these students involved in an intentional discipleship model that will allow them to grow in their faith in Christ.

Now, in order for this to happen effectively, we need you to join us in praying for for additional adult leaders to serve in these mentorship roles. Please join us in praying for these students along with the adult leaders God will send us in the days ahead. It's been an awesome week, but it's just the beginning.
